Game Monitor

Details
Part-time position with 10 - 20 hours weekly 

Requirements:

  • Required to work nights and weekends. Thursday - Sunday

  • A fun, upbeat, and positive personality

  • Must have a “can do” attitude - take INITIATIVE to solve problems and make an impact

  • Able to stay off your phone while working

Essential Job Functions required of ALL EMPLOYEES of Hour To Exit:

  • Provide exceptional customer service via phone calls and in-person interactions: Greet all customers via phone or in person in a friendly and professional manner

  • Escape Room set-up, including setting & re-setting each game room. Sanitizing between each game.

  • Welcome guests as they arrive, explain rules and strategies, and answer any questions they may have before entering the game room.

  • Monitor Escape Rooms from the control office, including providing clues as needed and answering any questions that arise. Take pictures at the end of the experience, post them to social media, or send them to the owners.

  • Collect feedback from participants afterward and provide feedback to owners.

  • Open and closing responsibilities, including preparing the business for the day and preparing and closing the control office escape rooms and lobby area.

  • Clean and Maintain the facility: continually check, maintain, and clean the lobby area, escape rooms, party room, and control office.

Scenic Carpenter

Your Role: As our Scenic Carpenter, you'll collaborate closely with our Game Designer and Set Designer to fabricate, install, and manage custom builds that are as durable as they are enchanting. Your craft will be the backbone of experiences that will be talked about long after the game is over.

Your Toolbox:

  • Proficiency with general carpentry and power tools (miter saw, table saw, nail gun).

  • A rich understanding of construction materials and fastening methods.

  • The ability to translate draftings and shop drawings into stunning 3D realities.

  • A dedication to detail, quality, and the artistry of your trade.

Your Growth:

  • An eagerness to expand your skill set and take on new challenges.
